Great day!

Despite having sinus problems and a swollen throat I still got alot done today. went to Curves. Then came home and filled out 270 Book Fair fliers for Middle school students. The Book fair is next week and I am in charge of it.

Stitched on TW The Storyteller and got another section done. Will work on a model piece that came in today.
Also in the mail came my Easter exchange from Laurie through The Exchange Place BB. She cross stitched a Easter needlecase. Plus sent me candy , a small jornal and really pretty rose shaped and scented soaps. Thank you so much

Also received this book from my Readnswap Yahoo group.

Also received 2 RRs in the mail today and a model for Twisted Oaks Designs :-) I will be starting that tonight.

I finished reading Velocity by Dean Koontz and I just loved it!! I am now reading London Bridges by James Patterson.

Mondays Musings-pics now up

seems that blogger is acting up again and not letting me post pics. This is getting to be a total pain in my a$$. I am sick of sitting here for 45 minutes and with dial up only to have it not work. If I have to put photos in photobucket in order to post the pics then there is no sense in having a blog. I just can send my friends to look at my photobucket site.

Anyways, Sunday I stitched on Vermillion piece out of the JCS 2003 issue. Today I stitched up basketball ornament and have it cut and made into an ornament.

Last week I watched:
Must Love Dogs
The 40 Year Old Virgin (twice)
The Brother Grimm
American Pie Band camp (twice)
When a stranger calls

I finished reading Unraveled Sleeve by Monica Ferris and am now reading Velocity by Dean Koontz which I am 3/4 of the way through and it is really good and hard to put down.

Saturday I had calling hours to go to. So I picked up my mom and we went to that. It was a neighbor from where we used to live. He was diagnosed with cancer 1-2 months ago and was given 6 months. His wife said he was pretty much pain free and it was real quick. I graduated with his daughter and was friends with his son and his own brothers and sisters. I used to babysit some of his nieces and nephew. I hadn't seen any of them in years except for his daughter that i had graduated with. I see her at class reunions.

DS#1 turned 16 on Saturday and he will go for his permit this Friday. DS#2 turned 14 today :-)

What kind of sports car are you?

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Stitchers Bloggers question

Well it seems now blogger won't let me add photos this morning so here is just the question.

Do you stitch "over one?" If so, describe your experiences. If not, have you considered it?
I have stitched over one on several projects and have had no problem.

Your Power Color Is Teal

In Love:
You tend to be many people's ideal partner.
How You're Attractive:
You make people feel confident and accepted.
Your Eternal Question:
"What Impression Am I Giving?"

Catching Up

I had a pretty busy weekend. Did get quite a bit of stitching time in. Friday I finished bent creek March Blows.
Then Saturday I started March of A year Full of Happy and finished that. Sunday I started LK Christmas Flip it and finished that on Tuesday morning.
Sunday KarenNY came over to stitch with me and that was really nice as I haven't seen her in a few months. She left here and then a couple of hours later I was walking down the hall and slammed my foot into a board and broke a toe. It is all swollen and a really pretty purple. Does not bend with my other toes. And hurt! OMG I haven't had that much pain in a long time.

Tuesday I started Winter queen by mirabilia so I will post a progress pic when I get a section done on that. I have changed my rotation as I hated stitching on something for half a day and the switching to something else for the other half. So now I either stitch a section or stitch til I am tired of that piece.

I am reading Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison and it is great. Has witches, vampires, pixies, fairies and a crooked councilman in it.

Stitchers Bloggers Question

Do you have an organizational system for your patterns? If so, how doyou organize them? If not, have you considered organizing them?

I have magazines that I keep in magazine binders. My charts and leaflets are in hanging files. They are by favorite designers and then by theme.

Sad Day!

My mom called me this morning to tell me that Dana Reeve passed away. She is the wife of Christopher Reeve. She had announced that she had lung cancer back in August. In january she had said that the treatments were working and her tumor was shrinking. I don't know what happened but she lost her battle. There is no justice in my mind. How can this have happened. She took care of her husband with him being paralyzed and raising their teenage boy. She did everything for her husband and this is what happens? What about the murderers, child molesters and rapists that are out there? Why do they get to live a long life? I sat and pondered this question all day and came up with no answers. My heart goes out to their teenage son and his children from before Dana. This family has had enough sorrow in their lives.

Which Season Are You?

HASH(0x8e41d10)
You are autumn, self-actualized and totally

realistic. You concentrate hard on your

studies and work. People look up to your

intelligence and beauty. You look for the

deeper meaning in anything and love helping

out others. Active and accomplished, you like

to keep things organized.

Stitcher Bloggers Question

What cross-stitch magazines or other publications (as opposed toblogs) do you read on a regular basis? What do you like about them? What do you not like? What would your perfect publication include?

I don't read anymore cross stitch magazines besides my old issues and the new JCS ornament issues. I used to get all of The Cross Stitcher mags and there are so many charts out of them that I want to stitch that I had to stop subscribing to it. I love most of the charts that came out in every issue especially the different series that they had. I don't even look at them in the stores because I am afraid I would buy them LOL.
