Some progress pics

I am so far behind on reading every ones blogs. I thought once the kids were out of the house that I would have more time. Wrong! I have no idea what is eating up my time. I have been staying an hour later after work a couple times a week. Dylan has been coming home on the weekends, so that takes up my time. I haven't even had time to read my favorite BBs.
Anyways here is more progress on It's Halloween by The Drawn Thread.
This week I am stitching on HAED Rapunzel. I am not getting far on this as there is a ton of confetti stitching.
Last Thursday was weigh in at Weight Watchers and I lost 2 more lbs. I have 1.8 lbs to lose by July 4th for my short term goal and then will have a new goal.

This weekend will be rough though as we have 3 grad parties and Scott's 30th class reunion. I will do my very best to stay on track though. I don't want to gain anything back.

Good night,
Shelleen

A finish and a new start

JCS 2004 Paw Printing - Penguin Hugs
28 ct Silkweaver , DMC, kreini, MH snowflakes
1/7/11-6/22/11
My June ornament is done. This is Penguin Hugs by Paw Printings. I started him in January as part of the Crazy January Challenge. Isn't he cute?

Then I started a new HAED SAL. Oh now stop groaning, you knew I had to join the new one. If they only had ugly ones this time then I wouldn't have joined. See it isn't my fault at all *G*

I only put in 100 stitches. I will alternate with this piece and Fragile Heart. Once Fragile Heart is done then I will move onto the first HAED I had started, Aurora's Garden. Hopefully I won't like any of the SALs next year lol.
While stitching I watched all this week's General Hospitals and finished listening to The Lovers by John Connolly. Although I liked the book, I don't understand why 2 beings were going after the main character. I either blocked out the part that explained it or it never did explain it enough for me to understand. Oh well.

Tomorrow I have calling hours to go to. My cousin-in-laws father died on Sunday after suffering from cancer all through his body. Please keep her and her family in your prayers as they go through this difficult time. He was a great man and always had a smile on his face.

Dylan's girlfriend, Allie, txt me today saying that she had an extra ticket for graduation and really wanted me to go. So of course I will go and am thrilled that she asked me. It is Sunday at 2. Her graduation party is July 3rd and I am looking forwards to that.

Thank you for reading and all the comments, I sure do appreciate them.

It's Halloween

Yes, that is what I stitched on for a short time tonight. I got another row finished on it.
It has been a crazy weekend. First off I will let you all know that I weighed in on Thursday, at Weight Watchers and lost 3.4 lbs, woohoo!

Friday I got out of work at noon because we weren't busy. Scott and I went to a parade that night and the carnival. Had a great time dancing for 2 hours straight lol. I sure did feel it on Saturday with my knees.

Saturday we looked at a few places for a car for Dylan. Some of these dealerships are a joke. Fixed dinner for the inlaws . I got a package from 123 stitch and it had more of the magnets I like for holding my patterns in place. I also bought a spool of eazy gridding thread. Got the first page, of the new HAED SAL, fabric gridded. I will start it this week.

Today Dylan, his girlfriend, and I went back to one of the car dealerships to talk to someone. Didn't care for that experience lol. Prices way to high. Then we went grocery shoppin. I just talked to him and he is back home, in PA. Car ran like a champ. We have decided to just get his car fixed for whatever needs to be done.

Tonight I watched a new summer show on TNT called Falling Skies. Pretty good. On the order of War of the Worlds. I also watched last Tuesdays Pretty Little Liars and the Nine Lives of Chloe King.

Well going to play a little bit of Sims2 before I go to bed.

Take care everyone and thanks for the comments,
Shelleen

another small section done

on HAED QS Fragile Heart. I was really hoping to have this page done by the time the new SAL started. The first page of the new one wasn't supposed to be emailed out til June 23rd but she emailed it out yesterday instead. So I think I will stick to the original plan of stitching the new one on June 23.
Anyways here is a little progress.
Tonight I watched some General Hospital and the season finale of Bones. I have 2 more season finales yet and the new season of Pretty Little Liars, that was on last night. Also the other new show last night was The Nine Lives of Chloe King. Hoping to watch some tomorrow night.

I started a new audiobook today. The Lovers by John Connolly. There is 5 CDs and I just started the 3rd CD and so far I am hooked. Anyone else read this book?

I want to thank all of you that read my blog and leave comments. I appreciate it so much.

some progress

Well I have been doing well on Weight Watchers. I am now doing the monthly pass which includes free etools and I joined a yahoo group, which I love. Last weigh in I had lost 2 lbs.I am doing much better with tracking.

I didn't stitch last week except for Monday. It was to hot even with the a/c on and some days we were really busy at work so I was to tired to stitch. But I did stitch on It's Halloween, yesterday.
Then tonight I pulled out HAED QS Fragile Heart.
Friday I finished the audiobook, Cross Fire by James Patterson.

Tonight's movie: Lifetime Nora Robert's Carnal Innocence. It was really good.

Exercise for the day: I did different walking and arm movements, like Leslie Sansone, while watching TV. Did that for 30 minutes :-)

Catching up

I have been a bad blogger, I know. Trying to do everything that I love after work while cleaning and getting other things done. It just doesn't always work.
Memorial weekend Scott, my sister, Dylan's girlfriend, and I, went and visited Dylan. We spent Saturday at King of Prussia Mall. That was a long day and a lot of walking. Sunday we went to Philly to Adventure Aquarium, which was a lot of fun.

I have been stitching a little bit.
May 30th I finished May's ornament , that was also a Crazy January Challenge.
JCS 2003 With My Needle - A Needleworker's Pocket

I also have been stitchin on It's Halloween by The Drawn Thread.

Half of it is done

Then I have stitched some more on HAED QS Fragile Heart.

The other day Justin called me. Seems he had decided to go for a run and fell on a sidewalk right on his knee. Ouch is right. He didn't have anything for first aid in his apartment so mom went to the rescue with bandades, gauze and tape. Mended him right up. I guess he does need me sometimes.

Well that is it for now, I am going to try and make it a regular habit to blog again.
