Blah Blah Blah boring

That is my life. The same thing day after day. Yep, that is me. Get up at the same time every day, go to work, come home, laundry ,cleaning, dinner, online and stitch and watch tv. Woohoo thrilling isn't it. Oh well keeps me out of trouble lol.
Dylan's car is being worked on here so he has my car in PA. Scott has had to take me to work. Him and Justin take turns picking me up from work.
Autumn is my favorite season and I have had pumpkin candles burning throughout the house. Smells so good.

I watched a few things tonight while stitching on HAED Rapunzel.
Live with Regis & Kelly, General Hospital, 2 episodes of Hungry Girl, and tonight's episode of The Ringer. I have decided to start DVRing Rachael Ray show. I miss watching it.

Here is a little bit of stitching on Rapunzel. around 200-300 stitches.
Thank you for reading and leaving comments.

SB Autumn & LK Halloween Rules

I stitched on and off all week so some days didn't have anything to post. Here is how far I got done on Shepherds Bush Autumn. This is my last project of the Crazy January Challenge. It will be done by the end of the year :-)
Work has picked up and our busy season is now here. Putting in extra hours and coming home tired.

Has anyone started watching any of the new Fall shows? I watched Ringer with Sarah Michelle Gellar and it is really good. Also watched The Secret Circle on the WB and enjoyed that one as well.

Saturday I had my book cross meeting. Dylan and Allie went with me and then we went to the public market. I then went to my inlaws, as we fix them dinner and Scott makes sure his parents take their meds. I had fixed a big pot of goulash, on Friday night, so we heated that back up and I also cooked broccoli.

I haven;t been getting much sleep since my new neighbors, who moved in last summer, got a beagle. It bays all the time and through the night. By Friday night I had enough so Dylan went over and asked them to please do something about it. They said ok. It was quiet the rest of the weekend. So I went over today and thanked them. You would not believe what they told me. My cat and the stray grey one sit at the beagles fenced in area and stare at him all the time. That is why he is baying/barking. So I told them sorry and I am now keeping my cat in the house at night. As far as the stray, he doesn't get near anyone so the neighbor is going to try and set a trap and take it to a shelter or find a farm for it. I don't know how well my cat will like being made to stay in the house but to bad for him. All is quiet in the neighborhood tonight. My cat is sound asleep on the futon and will remain there.

Today I stitched on LK Halloween Rules. I watched 3 episodes of Live with Regis and Kelly, then 3 episodes of General Hospital. Then for the first time in months I sat in my craft room and listened to Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwell. I listened to it for about 2 hours and couldn't figure out why it was a little different then where I left off. It had gone to a different Patrica Cornwell audiobook. So that was a waste of time tonight lol.

QS Fragile Heart, LK Halloween Rules and more vacation pics

Geesh, I haven't posted here in a week. How did that happen? I stitched Monday-Saturday on HAED QS Fragile Heart
as you can see I finished page 3 and am now putting in gridding for the bottom half of this piece. I can not wait for next month to pull this out and stitch on it. Just love her face. I am thinking I should like at this artists other patterns.

Then today I pulled out LK Halloween Rules and finished Wear a Costume and started Eat Candy.
Friday I finished listening to Book of the Dead by Patricia Cornwell. Very good book.

Now onto more vacation pics. These are taken at the Museum of Nature in Ottawa. I had a blast there. 5 floors of fun and alot of walking.
The first exhibit was the dinosaurs, which I couldn't wait to see. This is Gail with some bones.
This was my favorite area of the museum. These dinosaurs and several others looked so real. I will add another one at the bottom of this post of me standing by some.
 So cute!

These snow rabbits were so lifelike and they even added things to look like they left a few things behind :-)
The birds were really neat as well. Some exhibits you could play the sounds of each bird. A lot of interesting facts.

This leaf is a brooch that was taken in the Earth exhibit. We thought we would be in and out of this exhibit as we didn't think we would be to interested in it. But one of the guides in there showed us all the jewels and the neat things about them. This leaf represents all kinds of things in Canada. The colors represented Provinces and the veins were rivers. They had a computer set up of a pic of each jewel and you could zoom in so close to the pieces that you could see colors that you couldn't see in the display. It was amazing.

Gail took this pic of me because she said I looked like a child in awe of what I was seeing. Made her smile.
I just couldn't get enough of these dinosaurs.

All day today I was watching a bunch of Hungry Girl episodes that I had DVrd. if you have never seen this show then I encourage you to. It is on Food Network Sundays at 10 am EST. I even cooked one of the recipes which Scott, Justin and I enjoyed.

Thank you all for reading and leaving comments, I appreciate them. I do have a couple more pics of a town we visited. I will leave them for another day.

progress and vacation pics

I have been stitching and enjoying the time off from yahoo groups and reading blogs.
Last week I stitched on Joan Elliot's Christmas Angel. From and old The Cross Stitcher magazine.
Today I stitched on more of LK Halloween Rules
Now onto some more of my vacation.
That Tuesday we took a cruise on the river and we also visited the Parliament building. We didn't get to close as a politician had died , so people were there for a memorial.

This is the Chateau Laurier Hotel

This is the Parliament building.

The Eternal Flame at the Parliament Building.

Parliament Building's Library.

Rideau Canal Locks at the Ottawa River.

While on the boat cruise we could see The Museum of Civilazation. I loved the building. I want to see this museum the next time I go.

Museum of Art. Which I also want to visit next time.

Well that is it for today. Blogger doesn't want to add more pics. It is taking to long. Thanks for looking and for the comments that you all have been leaving. I really appreciate it.
