stitching like crazy

I had a bust few days. I also met my May Goals.


I stitched on HAED freebie Aurora's Garden all weekend with the HAED BB SAL. I got a lot done and am so enjoying this.
Then last night I stitched on TW The Storyteller , for 2 hours and got the section done.
Tonight I got another square done on the Quilt Sampler . I have 4 more squares and the border left.

Aurora's Garden for Saturday

I stitched on this most of the day yesterday. Scott and I went and visited my parents. My mom is doing much better and is now pain free. But she has to wear a plastic neck brace for 9 months.
Came home and did some laundry. Then sat and stitched and watched TV.

As you can see on my stitching that I have learned the parking of the thread method. I am not sure if I like it and with HAED designs the stitchers use a quilters pen and mark 10x10 squares and i believe I will do that in the future with the HAED.

Quilt and HAED

During the week I stitched on Quilt sampler. My goal this month is to stitch 2 squares and I did one and have another one almost done so i should meet this goal.
This weekend, Friday- Monday night is a SAL with the HAED BB. So I have pulled out the freebie Aurora's Garden. I stitched 2 hours last night and love working with these colors. This is also today's SAL with the stitching sisters yahoo group and Only One Ewe BB. This is also a goal piece for this month to stitch a little bit on this so I have already accomplished that :-)

I also finished the audiobook, Invisible Prey by John sandford and have started listening to Phantom Prey by John Sandford.

2 WIPs

Last night I stitched 4 hours on TW The Storyteller. While I watched General Hospital, 24 season finale and Medium. This is part of a UFO blog SAL and a SAL with an online friend.
Then tonight I finished cross stitching another square on Quilt Sampler. Tomorrow night I will do the backstitching on this square and then start another square. Tonight I watched general Hospital and then I pulled out a Netflix movie and watched The Uninvited. Very good movie.

a finish and a new start

Sundays are Halloween stitching. I finished Boo Needleroll by Down Sunshine lane.

Then I started Halloween Fairy by Nora Corbett. Can't wait to work on her next week.

a finish and a WIP

I finished M Designs Halloween Tree. Stitched on green linen with overdyed threads and the button pack for this design. Images below are close up with the buttons.


I also stitched some more on the quilt sampler. My goal is to finish 2 squares and I think I can do that this week.

I stitched while watching 2 weeks of Medium and most of the movie Eyes Wide Shut , which was a weird movie the first time I saw it.

Today I plan on finishing Boo Needleroll and hopefully start Nora Corbett's Halloween Fairy.

2 WIPs and a finish

Monday I worked some more on TW The Storyteller. I am moving along on this and it is a SAL with Connie. I also watched the season Finale of House, which was good. I also watched 24.
This is Little Old Me designs The Night Before Christmas. It is part of a SAL with the Needleworkers Haven BB and you had to be a member in order to get the pattern. I stitched this while watching the season Finale of Lost, weird season. Bones, stupid finale. Grey's Anatomy which I loved the finale and cried.
Tonight was SAT (stitch a thon) with Stitching Sisters Yahoo group, Let's Stitch Blog and a Cross Stitch Facebook group. So I finished Pa Bunny by the Sweetheart Tree. This was stitched on 32 Ct Amsterdam Blue Lugana with DMC. I watched the season finale of Ghost Whisperer, which was good. Smallville season finale, which was good, and Supernatural Season finale. It is now midnight and I am tired.

stash and 2 Halloween WIPs

last week my order from Down Sunshine Lane came in. The threads are for the LK Boo series. The fabric , beads and Kreinik are for the Nora Corbett Halloween Fairy.

I am almost finished with the M Designs Halloween Tree. I did manage to finish the cross stitching and next saturday i will add the beads. The power went out at 6:30pm last night and I was able to stitch another hour by the window. I didn't have enough of the orange silk to finish the tree trunk so I used GAST Sable.

Then tonight I stitched a little bit on the Boo Needleroll by Down Sunshine Lane. This is a fun stitch and I hope to finish it next Sunday.

I hope you all had a Happy Mothers Day. Dylan took me out for breakfast before going grocery shopping. We came home and there were a dozen roses on the table. They were from Justin and he also got me a bottle of wine, his dad picked it up. Then Scott came home from work. He had a dozen roses for me as well. he hasn't bought me roses in soo long that he acted upset that Justin had bought me roses but he was kidding around. Thank you guys for making me feel special. I love you!!!

PaPa Bunny SAT

I stitched on PaPa Bunny last night and I really wanted to finish him but I couldn't stay up past 10pm. I am really hoping to finish him next Friday. I stitched him as part of a SAT with the Lets Stitch blog and the Stitching Sisters Yahoo group.
I watched Ghost Whisperer and the season finale of Dollhouse, which was good.

My plans for today are to stitch on M Designs Halloween Tree. This is part of a SAT with the Only One Ewe BB and Stitching Sisters Yahoo group.

I have been stitching all week. I am stitching on a RR and it will be done to mail out next week.
I received some stash in the mail. First a package from Down Sunshine Line. I took pics but I guess didn't upload to my computer yet, sorry. But I got my silkweaver package. I love this pretty yummy lavender and thought wait, I can use it for the LK Boo but alas it isn't long enough :-( So I will use the dirty linen that I bought for the Boos. I also got this sand color linen as well. These are both 32 ct Belfast. I know they will get used :-)
Did anyone watch Lost , last night? Is it just me or is this season out there. I mean come on. Couldn't they come up with a better story line? I watched Bones and Grey's Anatomy, tonight. Loved the wedding and what a surprise that was. Didn't see it coming.

Tomorrow night I will stitch on and hope to finish PaPa Bunny.

Friday I received my wish. On the Make a Wish Blog I had asked for an every day floss ring tag and Jill honored my request. I love it and she did an awesome job on it. Thank you so much!!!
I don't know why the colors are washed out on this piece. it is M Designs Halloween Tree and the fabric is green. This is my incentive piece on the Only One Ewe BB and my Saturday SAT(stitch a thon) with them and with my stitching sisters Yahoo group. I got quite a bit done on it.
On the HAED board this weekend was to pull out a UFO/WIP HAED piece. Since this is the only one that I have going I put in 1 hour of stitching on it, today. I stitched 3 rows.
