without any posting. I just haven't felt like it. I did finish an ornament. LHN Winter Sampler from the JCS 2009 Ornament issue.
Then I finished a RR square for Gis
Thanksgiving was great and Dylan came home.
The weekend was for movies and stitching. I watched a lot of movies including all 6 Star Wars movies.
Then we dropped Dylan off an hour away from us. He had ridden with a school friend. He got back to college. yesterday his 2 friends(roommates) dropped out of school and then moved out of the apartment today and had to pay a big fee for canceling the rent. Now Dylan is stuck and has to be out of the apartment like maybe this weekend. He has no job and does not want to lose the opportunity of this school. I am sitting here 6 hours away in tears because these 2 boys left him high and dry. He can't afford rent on his own and I don't have the money to get to him til next weekend. I am so angry that the boys just left him hanging. They moved out today, while Dylan was in school. I have no idea if they took any of his stuff or what happened to his cat, which is an indoor cat, while moving things out. Scott and I are taking the cat home with us, next weekend. But what do I do if he has to be out this weekend? I am so scared for him. They also expect him to pay December's rent but no way should we pay when he can't stay and they did this. What is wrong with people. He went to high school with these boys. So please keep us in your prayers and that Dylan can move in with some kids this week. This has all happened since yesterday morning. I am numb!

Stitching with Knitters/crocheters
Today was crazy at work and then I was still busy when I got home. I had to work an hour over. Came home and started a load of laundry and preheated the oven for dinner. Once the dinner was done I had to leave right away so the dinner had to wait for me when I got home. Tonight was stitching at the library. Every Monday the knitters/crocheters get together and I go with my cross stitching. So I stitched some more on Little House Needleworks Winter Sampler from the JCS 2009 issue. It is something small that I can work on at the library.
I came home and ate my dinner. Then got ready to sit and stitch and watch a movie. So I pulled out HAED SK Sunny. I got quite a bit accomplished in 2 hours. Tonight's movie was on Lifetime called The Angry Juror. Loved it! The actress who played Arizona on Grey's Anatomy was the Angry Juror and she was also an attorney. I recommend it if it is on again.
Well it is time for my bed as I can hear it calling me :-)

Tuesday night , movie night
Another Tuesday movie night with my boys.
First I took Dylan to get fitted for the tux , for his senior prom. We were in and out in 10 minutes. he wanted a black tux. Looked through the book and said they all look alike. I tried pointing out the differences with the lapels, pockets, coat tails and such. He saw none of it. ordered a basic black tux. Long tie and vest in Aqua since his date's dress is that color.
Came home and I cooked linguine in clam sauce and then sat down for tonight's movie. From Netflix we watched The Lovely Bones. We all liked it. After that Dylan and I watched The Animal.
I also stitched on LHN Snow Bunnies from the JCS 2007 issue. Maybe I can finish it tomorrow night.
Is anyone going to watch the new show tomorrow, Happy Town? Justin and I plan on watching it.

3 finishes
I had a very productive day today. Went grocery shopping. Washed a couple loads of laundry and cleaned around the house.
Set up my stitching for March. Also going through some books to see what I can get on audiobooks through the library.
Then I sat down to stitch. I finished this ornament
Little House Needleworks
JCS 2006 issue
Pear Tree Ornament
Then I finished another section of this
Lizzie Kate Boo Club
Black Cat
While stitching I finished listening to:
Fire & Ice - J.A. Jance
and started listening to:
Dark of the Moon - John Sandford
I also watched the ending of NASCAR - Jimmie Johnson won again this week.
I also watched Desperate Housewives.
Goodbye to February!
As you can see I have my March Goals listed. I did pretty good for February. I only got 3 books finished of 4 and didn't get 1 stitching project finished that I thought I would. Actually I wanted to finish Stitchy Kitty Valentines Kitty Moon but I didn't. Mill Hill Treats Collage was the one I had planned on finishing. Maybe for March?

Saturday SAT
I was starting to feel better and then would feel a little blah. Time to get out of the house and into the fresh air. Scott had to go to Walmart and I wanted to go to Michaels. So away we go. I got sinus meds and 2 photo boxes with index cards and indexed tabs so i can put my specialty threads in them. I hate having them haning off many of the loops. This will look neater. I get home and DUH, we forgot to go to Michaels. I need more DMC plastic bobbins to finish winding the DMC floss lol. Oh well, this week I can get the specialty threads organized and I did find another package of the plastic bobbins. Then I sat and stitched. I got most of the Pear Tree done and have just the border left. Will finish it today.
Then I pulled out S is For Stitcher and started adding the alphabet.
I did listen to some more of Fire & Ice by J.A. Jance. I also watched a few shows that Scott had one, mostly channel surfing.
Today I will finish the ornament and then stitch on LK Boo Club. Should get my February goals listed as well.

Friday Stitch A Thon
I was supposed to stitch on an ornament Thursday in honor of Christmas but I came home sick from work. So I ended up sleeping all day. Then Friday I stayed home sick and slept most of the day. I ended up pulling out the ornament around 7pm for my Friday night Stich a Thon, with the Yahoo group and Let's Stitch blog. So this is how much I got done.
It is LHN Pear Tree Ornament from the JCS 2006 issue. I did this and watched TV all night. Started out watching Smallville and then all of this week's General Hospital episodes. Stopped stitching around 12:30. I am hoping to finish it today and listen to the audiobook Fire & Ice by J.A. Jance.
We ended up getting about a foot of snow. Schools were closed and it snowed all day and is still snowing. So I have no plans to go anywheres. Besides my sinuses are still kicking my bitt and will send Scott to the store for some meds. The sinuses are draining and making me nauseous. Everything tastes yucky so I haven't eaten much. Scott made me mashed potatoes because they sounded really good, yuck tastes like salt. The saltine crackers that I have , all I taste is the salt. By 5:00 is was starving. Scott wanted chicken fingers and fries and I wanted mozzarella sticks and they tasted so good and I even had a chicken fingers. Now I am hungry for breakfast and I still feel my sinuses draining. I used to love Sudafed but they took out 1 ingredient and it no longer works for me so I have to find a new medicine.

January Ornament finished
I started this Monday night and stitched a little bit every night. I finished it last night as a SAT with Let's Stitch blog and Stitching Sisters Yahoo group. I watched the series finale of Dollhouse which was very confusing. Also watched Medium and then some of the movie Twilight.
I have a head cold so I bought medicine for that and a box of kleenex. Plan on stitching all day curled up on the couch.

ornament progress
Woke up this morning and couldn't see the neighbor's house as it was snowing so hard. We gad a couple of inches of snow and had an advisory for all day and tonight. Hubby showed up and I said "are you my knight in shining armor" and he laughed and said I guess so. he took me into work. He picked me back up after work. So I read BBs, had dinner and then time to sit down and stitch.
I am getting quite a bit further on this. I watched The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. I hope to finish this tomorrow night.

Damage Control
Did that get your attention? The title is the audiobook that I am listening to by J.A.Jance. I had that playing while stitching on the ornament tonight. I managed to finish the house. I am hoping to finish this tomorrow.
I didn't do much today. We didn't have much work today so I left at noon. Caught up on blog reading. Did some laundry.
I had a rotation planned and goals. But for some reason I have UFOs that are calling me and I REALLY want to finish them. So is it to late to change my goals that are listed for the year? I would love to finish I Shall Wear Purple by Sue Hillis, Mirabilia's Winter Queen and TCS Christmas Angel. I can't remember how much I have started on Ice Angel either. Hmmm I am in a quandry on what to do. I really want to finish my HAEDs as well. I know I will be stitching on a HAED on the first Friday to the 2nd Friday of the month. That still leaves the week of the 25th to stitch an ornament. So do I pull out one UFO in February and stitch on it the other weeks. Then in March pick another of the UFOs and maybe they will all be done this year? Each month could be a different UFO. Plus still leave my weekends as planned. Fridays are smalls, Saturday magazines or incentive piece with OOE, Sundays are Halloween. I love my weekend schedules.

progress and giveaway winner
We had some crappy weather this morning with snow and wind. A woman lost her house to a fire this morning. Paper said she and her husband bought the house 3 years ago and then he was diagnosed with cancer and died. Today the house was destroyed, while she was at work and she lost her 2 cats and dog. So sad and don't know why that bothered me today. She is 58. A student at an area school hung herself this morning. Ok today was a morbid day i guess. Sorry.
Anyways thank you to all who were concerned about me driving my car. Hubby took me to work this morning and my car went to the shop. My front brake pads were gone. geesh no wonder it worked funny yesterday. I appreciate all of your concerns for my well being.
Today was movie night with the boys. Dylan went to town and brought home G-Force. Cute cartoonish with Guinea Pigs. We enjoyed it.
While watching that I worked on the JCS ornament.
I got all the brown in the border done. Hoping to stitch and get most of it done tomorrow night.

Christmas in January
Got ready for work this morning and backed out of my driveway and no brakes. My pedal went to the floor . I then put it into drive and went forwards a few feet and touched the brake and again the same thing. So back into reverse I went so i could pull back into the driveway. I asked Dylan for his keys and drove his car to work. After school Dylan took my car out and everything is fine. Stupid car.
I am all caught up with reading blogs. I left comments on quite a few of them
In honor of Christmas, since it is the 25th, I started a JCS ornament and watched 2 Christmas shows. How The Grinch Stole Christmas and then Shrek The Halls. Justin thought I was losing it. So this is what I started.
I also watched House and 24. Both good shows.
So who else did Christmas with me? You all chickened out didn't you? Next month is Christmas music :-)
