Annie and Penn were ridiculous sometimes but the banter was fun and getting to know the characters and their family dynamics was great,
Annie's mom would try all kind of schemes to sell things so she has a room in her house full of all kinds of products so Annie decides to open up a store.
Penn also wants to open up a viny, record, store and they end up looking at the store at the same time. Things get funny after that and decide to share the store. She has half and he has the other half.
Someone is out to destroy Annie and it wasn't who I thought it was at first.
Penn comes from money and his family wants him to settle down so he brings Annie as his girlfriend. I did not like his mother at all or his ex girlfriend.

This was a cute enemies to lovers romance. II am not used to reading a romance by Emma Tallon. She is one of my favorite authors and did not disappoint.
Kate's boyfriend proposed to her and she accidently accepted. Now she wants out of it but doesn't want to disappoint anyone. She is a lawyer and is told that she has to go and take care of an estate and only she can do it. She meets up with a grumpy guy letting her know that the house she is in is his. The banter between these 2 was funny and they act like teenagers at first trying to up one another.

Becka only does one night stands and she sees Aaron at a wedding and have a one night stand.
Weeks later she finds out she is pregnant and feels that he should know. He has her move into his penthouse since her apartment is small and run down. She feels stifled though but the chemistry is great. I really liked Aaron and after getting to know Becka more she started to grow on me.
The 2nb book in this book is about Aaron's sister Trisha . She gets hired from her brother and works with his partner who is a very grumpy person and very blunt with people. She starts to grow on him and they have such chemistry together but he fights a lot of it. SHe is always happy which he doesn't get but sometimes it is just a cover up.

This book was so different and why I really enjoyed it. Think 90210 within a Hallmark town and that's the vibe this gives off.
Brynn is divorced and to help pay her mortgage she has a roommate. They don't spend time together or really know each other. One night she is at the bar where he works, Wants to call a cab to go home but can't find her purse so she asks the roommate for money but he ends up walking her home and that's when everything happens. It was such a fun read.

This was a fun read. The banter between Hallie and Hayden was so much fun and had me laughing out loud. Hallie is trying to win the next online show and is competing against her ex, who treats her horribly. She has no self esteem because of him.
Hayden is trying to make her believe in the cryptids and ghosts, aliens and anything else that she does not believe in.
The feelings start when they are kind of forced to work more closely together and they made a great team.

Nikolai is in the last season of hockey in college and is forced tos witch colleges. So now he is playing with his enemy, who is the brother of Izzy. Hm and Izzy had a summer fling and didn't think they would see each other again.
Their feelings are back but they need to keep things from her brother. But then the brother and him start becoming friends.
Izzy plays volleyball and wants her position back but for some reason the coach has it out for her. So she has to prove herself and get what she wants, Both the position and Nikolai.
I found it a cute romance and enjoyed reading it.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I will definitely be reading more.
You have a family of brothers and a sister from the wrong side of the tracks. The guys have bad reps with the women lol.
These men also have secrets. Krisjen comes from money and not supposed to have anything to do with people in this part of town but she is seeing Trace and ends up having sex in the dark with someone. I didn't think it was Trace. I had a feeling on who it was and was hoping it wasn't another Brother. I felt it was kind of a why choose but it ended up being better than that,
I could not put the book down and getting to know these characters and why they are the way they are. Kept me up reading.

I loved this book. Made me laugh, cry, be mad and sad.
Georgia and Eli dated for a few years and broke up because he was a workaholic. It's been a few years and now their best friend is getting married and they are in the wedding. They have also had to take over a lot of the wedding planning. So for them to have to get a long was going to be a strain. They made it work and feelings came back or maybe they were already there just laying dormant.

I have tried sticking with this series because I really like Riley and Nick. It has gotten really old reading about the stupidity and rudeness of her elderly neighbors. This part of the series is over the top along with Riley's ex. I really would love to get to know more of Riley's family and Nick's family but the elderly people need to take a backseat.

2 families who are scam artists and they work together. Phoebe is best friends with Hailey and has a thing for Hailey's brother which their moms would love them to be together.
Hailey wants to have a normal life so her and Phoebe go to a small town and get an apartment and real jobs.
I have never read a book by these 2 before but I plan on reading more.

Finding Mr. Write by Kelley Armstrong
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was one of the best Romcoms I have ever read. A lot of them I find silly and always wanting to slap the characters upside the head but this one I was on both of their sides and I really liked them.
Daphne hasn't had much luck in wanting to get a book published so she sends in her book with a male name as an author. But with her friend as a lawyer, they figure how to cover her ass incase it gets out. Not only did her friend find a man to play the part but you could tell she was also up for doing some match making..
I have read quite a few books by Ms Armstrong but never a Romcom and she hit it out of the ballpark.

Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this book from the very start and it is my first book I have read by this author. But it will not be my last. I liked Rue and she reminded me of Tempence from the tv show Bones. Not many friends, not sure how to do relationships and very smart.
Rue and Eli met in a bar for sex only after they had met on an APP. Right after that she finds out he works for the company who is out to take the company she works for. He also did not know who she was when they met. They decide to go ahead and have sex anyways. She usually only does 1 night stands and never seeing the guy again, But there is something about Eli that she changes her stance.
I found these 2 fun and seeing their relationship grow.

I wish we could rate .5 stars as I would give it 3.5 stars. It wasn't quite a 4 star for me.

Lucy has a an advice column called Ask Adam and so everyone thinks she is a man except her coworkers know and one of them she has a crush on but he is dating someone.
Lucy uses AI to answer some of the questions and even has one who she believes is from Ross, her crush.
Then once comes in that sounds exactly like what is going on with her sister and BIL. She sets out to prove if it is right or wrong.
I liked Lucy and Ross. They were cute and you could tell they liked each other but it took awhile for them. It's a cute romance.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a fun and quirky series. Riley lives in a apartment/mansion complex with quite a few eccentric neighbors. She has a hot boyfriend who is a PI and hires her to work with him. She is also a psychic and helps the police with cases but also helps people without meaning to. Her parents and sister are quirky but her Grandmother is a horrible bully who I wish everyone at once would stand up to her and not give in to her demands. She is not friendly at all. Everything is her way and her timeline.

Old Flames and New Fortunes by Sarah Hogle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Romina is a florist and uses magic through the flowers and the flower's meanings. She pretends date a guy who ends up being a soon to be step brother of her ex,
Alex was her high school sweetheart and she never got over him. As we read more about him then he never got over her either.
I thought the book was cute.
The one thing I don't like with books meant for adults are the cutesy cartoon covers. It looks like a mid grade fairytale cover.

Riley s divorced and living alone. She has Psychic powers that she can help people and solves crimes but sometimes I don't get why she can't see what is going to happen to her or Nick. Nick is a PI who has a chemistry with Riley
Riley lives in a mansion with some pretty weird characters but fun. Her family is accentric with abilities as well.
It was a fun reads.
