They must head into the dangerous lands of Taidel where enemies lurk around every corner. To make matters worse, Robin’s feelings for Holden begin to surface, but she's already betrothed to a fae prince she's never met.
MY REVIEW:
Born In Magic by Basia Pike
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
When Robin turns 18 she is confronted by Holden who tells her she is a fae princess. She doesn't believe him or in magic. So he proves magic is real. Robin knew at 13 that she was adopted as a baby. The only thing her birth parents left her was a ring.
Holden tells her she has to go back to her birthplace, Taidel because it is being taken over by darkness. Evil is lurking everywhere and there is a bad man out to destroy everything. As Holden is taking here there and training her on how to use her magic they end up having feelings for each other. Then she finds out she is betrothed to a fae prince and has been since she was born. But she is going to fight it every way she can because she doesn't know him. There is evil lurking to kill her so she can not lay claim to the throne.
This book was fun and I am glad that I got the chance to read it.
