Anna is happy in her life. She is part owner of a club with hr best friend Tanya. She has a great boyfriend, Freddie. But things seem to be going on with Freddie and he hasn't been showing up where he should be and keeping secrets from her, which they never keep secrets from each other.
Freddie had a girl gone missing from the front of his club. Come to find out her dad is an important person and he hires Freddie to find her or he will have Anna in prison on trumped up charges and have her killed in prison. Freddie can't tell Anna any of this. We also find out about a crooked cop who is working for the important man.
Freddie can find out just about anything and has more power and can reach areas that the cops can't. But no matter how much Freddie goes looking , he just can't find the girl.
When the girl is finally found and we find out who took her it is very disturbing.
I have liked this series so far and had started out reading the 3rd book for a blog tour. So I read the 1st book last month and now this is the 2nd book and continuing on with this series.
