Page 2 is finished!!

I did it, I finished page 2 of HAED SK Sunny. I then gridded page 3, which is the final page, and put in a few stitches.
My goal is to finish her by the end of June. Since there is a lot of block stitching without changing colors I should be able to do it.

I had my CT scan this morning. So not only didn't I care for the doctor's office or the doctor and his assistant , I also was mad today. I went to the building for the CT scan. I gave my name and they have no folder on me. The doctor's office never sent over the acquisition forms so there was nothing there. They had to wait for them. It didn't take long but at this point if I need surgery do I really want those yahoos touching me?

So today I went through all my blogs in Google Reader and got rid of the ones who haven't posted to their blogs this year. I left comments on quite a few.

Then I watched:
General Hospital
Witches of Oz - miniseries I DVRd from Encore
The Vampire Diaries season finale
Grey's Anatomy

I also read some more Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.

Have a good night.

  1. Nice work on SK Sunny, Shelleen. I empathize with your frustration about the CT scan, though. It scares me sometimes how incompetent medical people can be! Theresa

  4. Yeah on a page finish. With HAED's they are as great as a full finish since there is so much on each page.
Can't wait to see the finished product.

Sorry to hear about your trouble at the hospital, it can be very frustrating.

  6. Sunny is looking great! Sorry about your medical personnel problems. I have a doctor I really love, but his assistant drops the ball on many occasions. Very frustrating!

  7. Sunny looks great. You always do beautiful work. I need to get back to reading more. I just can't find the time to do everything I want/need to do.

  10. Glad you got your page finished Shelleen. And sorry to hear the CT scan didn't go. Are you going back to try again? Here's hoping for your goal. I hope you finish her in time! I set small goals for my rotation pieces. (I work in two week installments. So my goal for two weeks may be to finish up page one's border, or something like that.) So far, I'm hitting the goal about fifty percent of the time (which is actually pretty good for me). I'll say a prayer for you to NOT need surgery, Shelleen. Sending you healing hugs from Ohio!

  13. How exciting that your HAED Sunny is almost finished! Whenever I add a new blog to my list to follow, I delete a few old ones that haven't posted in a long time.

Witches of Oz sounds like a good miniseries! Too bad I don't get the Encore channel.

I love my medical providers/hospital because everything is connected by computer. There is a computer in every room and no need to wait for paperwork. The other day I had an aching leg and the doctor sent me to the lab, who then sent me for an ultrasound to check for a blood clot (which was negative). But it was very smooth and all of my medical history was available everywhere I went!
