2 progress pics

I had a pretty busy weekend. Dylan came home late Thursday night/early Friday morning. I did manage to put in a few stitches on HAED QS Fragile Heart.

Saturday was quite busy. I had a BookCross meeting at lunch time. I always enjoy them. I gave away 2 books and came home with 1.
The reason that Dylan came home this weekend was for his girlfriend's senior prom. His roommate even came out for the prom. Allie(Dylan's girlfriend) had a friend without a date for the prom so Dylan's roommate went and he had a great time even though he didn't know one person there, except for Dylan.

Today the 4 of us went grocery shopping. What fun since my car doesn't have a big trunk and we went to 3 stores. Let's just say my 2 door car had groceries on top of Allie's and Joe's laps in the back seat lol.      
Dylan and Joe left here around 6:30 and should be back in PA around midnight.
This coming weekend will be busy as my sister, DH, Allie and I are going to visit Dylan and hopefully do some sightseeing in Philly.

So after they lefy I was able to sit and stitch tonight. I only stitched for 2 hours but it felt good and since it was Sunday, it was Halloween day. Here is It's Halloween by The Drawn Thread. I am so close to the edge of the fabric. I will have to finish it as a bellpull, when it is done and will have to stitch on extra fabric on the ends. I don't know happened when I measured since I check it so many times.

Crazy January Challenge #8

This morning I went to Lovin' Cup for my Book Cross meeting. Good food, and good friends. Then went grocery shopping. I had planned on a turkey dinner but by the time I got home it wouldn't have gotten in the oven til 4 so I will fix it tomorrow.

Tonight I started Poof Hat by Ursula Michael

Busy day

got up for work, met DH at Java for coffee. Went to work and had to leave early so I could take Dylan to his eye appointment. he had to have new glasses, they will be in 7-10 days. Then we headed to Walmart. I needed to buy a new litter box and a new keyboard for my PC. This one is a lot smaller than my last one and the keys are a little smaller. Then I headed to Panera bread for my monthly Bookcross meeting . My mom handed me her book, Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich. I love these books. Left there and took Dylan's girlfriend home, since she had gone with us. Came home and catching up on everything. Oh , I did read today. At the Eye appointment and I was early at Panera Bread. I think I have about 5 pages left in Kitty Takes a Holiday by Carrie Vaughn.
Hopefully tomorrow I will get in some stitching time. I need to finish the one Christmas ornament and then start another one
