I am all caught up on reading blogs and forums. Washed 3 loads of laundry and FINALLY finished organizing my specialty threads. I was almost done many months ago but decided today that it had to be DONE!
Then I sat down and stitched on LK Halloween Rules. I am only showing a portion of it because my batteries died in my camera. So I scanned this and it all doesn't fit on my scanner.
The frog visited me today though. I wa stitching the mummy and I was off so had to redo him. Then I stitched some more of the black border and then the border of Sit For A Spell. Stitched the cat also. This is so much fun to stitch up. I will pull it out again next Sunday.
I watched:
2 episodes Live With Kelly
1 episode of General Hospital
1 episode of The Secret Circle
tonight's episode of Once Upon A Time
tonight's episode of Desperate Housewives
I also finished the audiobook The Maze by Catherine Coulter. This is the 2nd book of her FBI series.
Justin and I were watching Tv when the new McDonalds commercial came on about something being the McMuffin. So Justin says "You are the McMuffin of Moms" LOL. Too funny.
Well night all. IHSW is done for this month and I accomplished a lot. I am going to go read before bed. The book is Even Cat Sitters Get the Blues by Blaize Clement.
Thank you for all of the comments, you are all the best.

Crazy January Challenge #7 & #8
I didn't get a chance to post last night as I had fallen asleep.
This is LK Bugs & Kisses, done on 28 silkweaver Lugana, blue color
Then today I pulled out LK Ghouls Night Out done on 25 ct Wedgewood Blue Lugana.
Saturday- I went through the DVDs and CDs and got them organized and back in the rack. Started some laundry and then I don't know what happened to the time. Went to my inlaws for our Saturday night dinner and making sure they take their meds. Came home and watched Elf with Scott. he hadn't seen it so I had DVRd it for him.
Sunday - Justin took me grocery shopping. He had picked out some menus to try and tonight was one of them. Ham & cheesy potato casserole. It was very good. Got caught up online.
Worked out with The Biggest Losers Wii game. I seemed to have liked it, even though I don't watch the show. I will add this one to my list of more to buy or my wish list.
Tonight I stitched while watching Once Upon a Time and then Desperate Housewives. Both were very good.
I also read a little bit more of my book Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. As soon as I am done here I will be reading some more.
Thank you everyone for the comments. I appreciate them all.

Another finish
I was busy at the beginning of the day. Went grocery shopping, organized my cotton fabric, and did a couple loads of laundry. Then sat and stitched. I finished Cat and Pumpkin 2.
Then started LHN JCS 2009 Winter Sampler. Didn't get much done on it.
I would have started another Halloween piece but tomorrow is the 25th and I try to stitch an ornament every month. This year has not gone well with that goal :-)
While stitching I watched TV:
General Hospital
Supernatural - 10/8, 10/15
Smallville - 10/15
Nikita - 10/21
Desperate Housewives
Tomorrow night House is not on so I am going sew up the Halloween smalls that I did all week. Plus, hopefully, stitch some more on the Christmas ornament.

One Eyed Jack finished!
I finished One Eyed Jack. This was part of the SAT with Let's Stitch blog and Stitching Sisters yahoo group.
Work was crazy yesterday and never made it online when I got home. Last week I had promised Dylan's ex, Shelbi, that we would go out for a fish fry. Turned out Scott finally had a Friday night off from OT. So we all went to Alex' s Place, in Batavia. Really good food.
Came home and I watched TV : Medium and General Hospital, while finishing this piece. Then pulled out my next pumpkin challenge chart. I will start it today.
Went to the Farmer's Market today and am hoping to go to Joanne's Etc for a rollaway storage unit, for all my cotton fabrics. Then grocery shopping.
Stitching tonight on a new start.

Tuesday update
Stitched some more on One Eyed Jack.
Dh had worked a little bit in my craft room so my file cabinet is now where I want it to be and I put some files in it, of my charts and patterns. Then I found everything else that I have had kitted up, and put them in the rightful bins. I will have to take pics this week.
Sat down with One Eyed Jack and an audiobook. I am listening to The Hot Flash Club by Nancy Thayer and so fair it is really good. I would have liked to have stitched more and listened more but I kept nodding off for a second and so I gave up. Going to bed now.

Thank you for all the comments, they mean a lot to me.

It is finished!
I finished this a few minutes ago and just love it. I bought this in 1999 at my first PALS retreat. I finally pulled it out this year. My plan is to frame it.
SATURDAY:
Went to the Farmers Market and this Saturday is the last one til next Summer :-(
Then Scott and I went to my bookcross meeting. Karen and her husband were the only ones there. I called my dad, to see if my mom was coming. She was with a friend. My dad was upset though as their beloved dog was hit and killed. Both of my parents are upset but my dad is worse. He took her everywheres with him and she helps him with his depression. Even helped him when he was recuperating from a couple of surgeries. She was around 5 years old. he is blaming himself as he knew she goes in the road, and he didn't tie her up. I will miss her as well.
After the meeting Scott and I went to Home Depot to get the 2 shelves that I wanted for my craft room. Bins were set up on the shelves.
Dinner time we went my Scott's parents to make sure they took their meds and to eat dinner.
Came home and stitched all night while Scott slept.
SUNDAY:
I hate grocery shopping by myself. Justin and Scott were working and Dylan, as you know, is in PA.
Got my Cross stitch projects in the bins then sat down and stitched while watching TV.
Watched:
Supernatural 10/1
The Vampire Diaries 10/7
Nikita 10/7
Smallville 10/8
Desperate Housewives
Tomorrow I plan on putting some of my Halloween Decorations out. Will start stitching a new Halloween piece with Pumpkins, for the Pumpkin challenge with Becky SC.

How do you organize your floss? & pics
I stitched on HAED SK Sunny all week and accomplished some progress. This is what I have done since last night. It will get put away til the first week of November.
Meari asked how do you store your floss? So this is my system. This is a makeup case that I bought, from QVC, many years ago. I bought it specifically for my Kreiniks. Each drawer is in numerical order. I think I can fit 20 spools in a drawer, if not more. I also have the glow in the dark, braids, and hi lustres.
These are my specialty threads. I will end up with 4 photo boxes of these. I use GAST and WDW the most so they each have their own box. They are in alphabetical order and have indexed tabs. To keep the bags standing up I use an index card in each bag of floss.
This is what the boxes look like on the outside.
These are all my DMCs in Jammers. Jammers are the boxes for Matchbox cars and are 2 sided. I can hold a whole set of DMC embroidery floss in 1 box. Not incuding the metallics and other DMC specialty threads.

So how do you organize your floss?

HAED SK Sunny
Tonight I pulled out HAED SK Sunny. I haven't worked on this since August. I will be stitching on this through Thursday.
I listened to more of the audiobook Hold Tight by Harlan Coben and am hoping to finish it tomorrow night.
While waiting for my shows to start tonight I pulled out my sketchbook and pens and started a Zentangle. I will post a pic when I finish it. Nothing fancy but a start and a lot of fun.
Tonight I watched:
House
Netflix- The Back-Up Plan
Thanks to Scott He put up 2 of the shelves in my craft room. I did start putting things on the one shelf. The top shelf will be for my mags and hardcover books. Anyone know where I can buy bookends? I am going to buy magazine holders for all my mags. Nothing fancy but something sturdy.
Thanks for all your comments. They mean a lot to me.

Friday SAT
Friday night was a SAT with Lets Stitch blog and Stitching Sisters Yahoo group. I pulled out LHN Glory To God from the JCS 2008 issue. I had started it in March. While stitching I started listening to The Shack by William P. Young. Very good.

Saturday :
Scott, Justin and I went to the Farmer's Market and the a local store to buy meat. Later on Scott and I went to Walmart so I could get another photo box for my specialty threads. Then to Home Depot to get a clothes rod for Justin's closet and I wanted to look at and price shelving for my craft room. Found what I wanted and am going to go with Cherry shelves. I will buy a little bit at a time.
When I came home I read friend's blogs and I was reading Louisiana Momma's post about her zentangle and remembered I saw this a while ago, online. Well I used to do this in the 80s. Art was my major in school and I was always drawing. So I believe I will buy a sketchbook and a couple of pens and start doing this again. I love Louisiana Momma's Halloween ones and you know how much I love Halloween, so I can't wait to do some. I even found my sketches from the 80's. I still have my art portfolio.
Hoping to stitch quite a bit on Cat-O-Lantern today. See you later.
Thanks so much for the comments , I love them all :-)

a little bit of this and a little bit of that (picture heavy)
Tuesday night is family night with my boys. Dinner and a DVD. We ended up watching Hot Tub Time Machine. I rated it 3 stars. The storyline was good and the acting but the use of the F word was a little to much by one character.

Wednesday night was movie night at the theater. I took Justin to see Charlie St. Cloud and it is an awesome movie and we rated it 5 stars. You will need kleenex! Zac Efron does an amazing job in this movie.

Thursday I worked til 3 and I wanted to join Weight Watchers that evening. Well it starts at 4:45 and in the same town where I work. I did not want to drive back home only to have to turn around again and go to the other side of the town I was already in. So I took my laptop and went to a new coffee shop in Batavia, NY. It is called Coffee Culture and I really liked it in there. It is open late at night and they have a wide variety of coffees, teas, chillers (smoothies) and breakfast food, sandwiches , wraps, and soups. I just got a chiller , which was very good. They also have free wifi, hence my taking my laptop. I left there at 4:30 and headed to WW. I joined and got weighed and my slider and little booklet to get started. I have been doing Weight watchers for 2 weeks with my mom's WW stuff that she doesn't use anymore. I enjoyed the meeting.
Today I got out of work at noon because we weren't busy and I already had in enough hours. I wanted to go for a walk but the sky looked like it was going to rain. So instead I worked out with Wii Fit Plus. I have not used it since April. Well since then I have lost almost 9 pounds. I am thinking because of my eating healthy the past 2 weeks. Anyways I worked out for 30 minutes and burned 172 calories. So I feel pretty good about that. I will post about my accomplishments at the end of every post.
Then I pulled out HAED SK Sunny. Tonight was a SAT with Let's Stitch blog and Stitching Sisters Yahoo group. I watched 3 episodes of this weeks General Hospital and then a Hallmark movie was on tonight: Lies Between Friends, which was really good. I got a few squares done on Sunny.
I forgot to tell you. Monday I finished getting all of my DMC on the bobbins and into the Jammers. Woohoo!!! It felt great to get that done after several years. I need to buy 1 photo box with index labels so I can store the Misc. overdyed brands that I have. Then all of my floss will be done.
I also have started listening to Hand of Evil of J.A. Jance and am enjoying it.
Well I guess I am caught up for the week.
Tomorrow I hope to stitch more, on HAED SK Sunny.

HAED Happy Dance!!!!
My first HAED finish Woohoo!!!
I stitched this as part of the SAL with the HAED BB. I have 3 other HAEDs that I need to finish.
Tonight was Friday SAT with the Let's Stitch blog and Stitching Sister's Yahoo group. I ended up watching 3 movies tonight.
She's Out of My League 4 stars
Get Smart 3 stars
The Haunting of Molly Hartley 3 stars
Yesterday we had our work done by noon so I left work, took Scott out for lunch and then later on I took Justin to the movies. We saw The Sorcerer's Apprentice , which was a 5 star. Great graphics.
Then I went to A.C. Moore. I love their pads of paper that are $1. Plus I bought little wooden cutouts of ladybugs, butterflies, bees and dragonflies. I had the round magnets at home so I made needle minders out of them.
Then I went to Joann's Etc. since they have fabric and I love the project bags through Stitch a Gift and I change mine every month. I have 6 or 7 of them now and wanted some made with material that I picked out so I will be sending those fabrics onto the ladies to make them for me.
I am winding the 3800's on bobbins now but I ran out of bobbins so I am hoping to pick up more tomorrow. Plus I have a bag of DMC that are a mix of numbers that need to be wound. I see the light at the end of the tunnel :-)

I'm So Excited and I just can't hide it!!
That song has been going through my head the last 15 minutes I was up stitching on this. LOOK!!! It is almost done. Now I am getting antsy LOL.
I plan on going to the movies tomorrow after work, so I may not get it done tomorrow. But I know I will get it done on Friday.
I watched General Hospital and wound more floss on bobbins. All the 3700's DMC are now wound and tomorrow I will get them in numerical order in the Jammer. I will need to buy some more bobbins though for the next set of DMC numbers.
Then I pulled out my Ipod and listened to a few more chapters of Web of Evil by J.A. Jance. Great series.
Tonight's movie was Footloose. It was on CMT and since Justin and I saw the musical on Sunday he had informed me that he never saw the movie. So for about my 30th time seeing it we watched it together. He loved the movie!

Tuesday movie/family night
It is Tuesday again and a Netflix night. We watched The Bounty Hunter with Jennifer Aniston. Funny movie.
Then Pretty Little Liars came on and Justin and I watched that.
When that was over I put it on General Hospital and wound more floss on bobbins. I am at the 3700s DMC now.
While watching the movie and Pretty Little Liars I stitched some more on HAED SK Mermaid of the Deep. I got more of the flesh done and some of the tail. I am sure hoping it will be done the end of this week.

I have been feeling like I am in a funk. Not sure if it the changes going on this year or what. I feel time for a change and want to move out of state but Scott won't move. Then I feel like maybe I should just pack up my stuff, the dog and my cat and just go by myself and start over a new chapter in my life. Not sure where this is all coming from. Justin is in college and Dylan is moving to PA. I am ready for a change. I have been living in this house or I should say trailer for almost 23 years and am bored. It is old and Scott doesn't want to put money into it but he doesn't want a mortgage either so he doesn't want to buy a new place. Scott has had to work OT since February with no end in sight so I only get to spend time with him on Saturdays and this is getting really old as well. I am grateful that he has a job but they also take advantage of that and making it mandatory OT. My stitching friends all live out of state and the one that I have here I haven't seen since March. She is always busy.Anybody else ever feel like this?
Thanks for the comments that are being left, I really appreciate them.

busy day at work
The day started out slow at work, Monday you know. Then a mistake was made but was able to be fixed , no big deal. Just one of those days and we got done late. Got caught up on reading Bulletin Boards(proboards and another one). Read a couple of blogs :-)
Then sat and watched General Hospital and wound floss on bobbins. I might be able to get this done this week, well then again I did find more extra floss lol.
Then pulled out my stitching and watched a movie, Mr. Woodcock. Has Billy Bob Thornton and Susan sarandon in it. Billy Bob played Mr. Woodcock and I really wanted to reach through the TV and slap him. He was a terrible teacher. I also watched tonight's episode of Rizzoli & Isles. Not sure if I want to continue watching this series. I do like Angie Harmon but she plays the same kind of roles over and over again so it seems like I am watching the same show. She needs to broaden her acting career and they need some new blood out there.
I did manage to get quite a bit done on HAED SK Mermaid of the Deep. I am really hoping to finish it this week.

WIP and new TV series
I had a pretty productive day. Got home from work and did a few things online. Then sat and watched General Hospital while winding floss on bobbins. Then end is near for that.
Read for 2 hours. The Choice by Nicholas Sparks. Really good and am about 3/4 of the way through it. I also started an audiobook today. Web of Evil by J.A. Jance.
Then tonight I watched True Blood, that I had DVRd last night. A new show on TNT called Rizolli & Isles. It is based on the books by Tess Gerritsen. Angie Harmon plays the detective. Her character is pretty much like her character when she was on the Women's Murder Club based on the books by James Patterson.
So while watching those 2 shows I got in some more stitching time on HAED SK Mermaid of the Deep.

Valentine Kitty Moon is finished!
Today I read all my blogging friend's blogs and commented on some. I love getting comments on mine and I do try to comment on others.
I worked out with the Wii Fit Plus. Really like it.
Tonight's dinner was from the Taste of Home Cooking School Spring magazine. Crab & Spinach quiche, which was very good.
While it was in the oven I watched General Hopsital 4/16 while winding floss on bobbins
Then after dinner I sat down with my ipod and Valentine Kitty Moon, and it is finished. I really like stitching on these. I listened to a few more discs of Rough Country by John Sandford.
Then I stitched some more on Stitchy Kitty St. Paddy's Kitty Moon. I will stitch on this some more tomorrow night and Friday night and will hopefully finish it.

I am on a finishing kick so after St. Paddy's Kitty Moon I will finish up last month's ornament and then start this month's ornament. Then onto a UFO. Not sure which one. I thought of pulling out my oldest one. That would be Rocky Mountain Christmas by Marty Bell. But Christmas Angel is calling my name and so is I Shall Wear Purple, or maybe even Mirabilia's Winter Queen. Hmmm. Tough decisions lol.

Movie Tuesday
Tuesday again with a movie and a pizza. Tonight's movie was from Netflix and called Murder.com. Dylan slept through most of it, Justin found it boring and I rated it a 3 out of 5 stars. The storyline was good. Was slow paced though and the main character looked anorexic.
I watched a little bit of General Hospital's Friday episode while winding floss on bobbins.
I have 3 sections of bookcases all lined up together, floor to a couple of feet away from the ceiling. I am trying to get the shelves all organized. They look so cluttered. I am trying to turn it into my cross stitch area. 1 of the bookcases is pretty crappy looking so once I am all done it will get thrown out. I then want to either buy a loveseat or a comfortable recliner and have it sit between 2 of the bookcases. I will keep my floss, mags, cross stitch books, beads, kreiniks and fabrics all neat on the shelves. It will probably happen next year. I have been working on one shelf at time and sorting through the books, do I want to read or can I get them on audiobook into my computer.
Tonight I watched Lost, only a few more episodes left of this series. Will be sad to see it go.
So while watching Lost and the movie I stitched some more on Valentine Kitty Moon. I also got in about an hour of the audiobook Rough Country by John Sandford. Anyways Valentine Kitty Moon is moving right along and I am hoping to finish it tomorrow night. Then onto St. Paddy's Kitty Moon.

Easter Kitty Moon progress
I have been making good progress on this, all week.
Yesterday I watched Where The Wild Things Are , from Netflix. let me tell you this is a dark , angry and depressing movie. Nothing like the book. Would scare little kids.
I had today off from work so did a couple of loads of laundry.
I stitched while watching:
Live with regis & Kelly
Rachael Ray
Bones
Supernatural
Today I wound more floss on bobbins and am on the 3300s. I put the 3ooos in the storage box. While doing that I watched:
General Hospital - 4/9, 4/12, 4/13, 4/14
Tomorrow night is a SAT with Stitching Sisters Yahoo group and Let's Stitch Blog. Anyone want to come to my house for a SAT night? I will hopefully finish Easter Kitty Moon and then pull out Valentines Kitty Moon, again.
