IHSW progress

I didn't get to stitch Friday night but I did all day yesterday and today. I made pretty good progress on HAED Literate Dragon.

Friday night Scott took me out for our Valentine's dinner. Very good meal. Second time at the restaurant. Tillman's Inn and it is in Albion. Corners of 98 and 104.

Dylan had my car today so Justin took me grocery shopping. I don't like our town's store called Tops. I LOVE Wegmans so we went there. Anyways we load up the car and they key won't turn at all in the ignition. It did this the other day and he got it to work. We even called Dylan to come save us and he got some tools and still couldn't fix it. We transferred the groceries into my car and left Justin's car there. He will take care of it tomorrow. The store is open 24 hours and well lit so it will be ok there. Dylan found out that there is a recall on the ignition of the car so hopefully it will be fixed without a problem.

So I ended up watching all this past week's Home & Family shows from the Hallmark channel, while I stitched. I am hoping this week I can get more progress done on this piece.

Also I stitched on HAED Aurora's Garden, which was also what I stitched on for the IHSW

TUSAL and IHSW

I needed to catch up on my blog. So here is the pic of my TUSAL and the orts are from:
HAED QS Fragile Heart
Best Witches
HAED Aurora's Garden

This past weekend was also IHSW and I stitched quite a bit on HAED Aurora's Garden. This is stitched on 25 ct, 1x1
I finished page 3 and don't have much left to do but I have some confetti areas so will take a little longer than I was expecting it to. This is going to one of Dylan's ex girlfriend's. I started it when they were dating, 3 years ago and we still talk to each other and is looking forwards to receiving this. My goal is to finish it this month.

Does anyone have any stitching plans for the new year? I am stitching on 3 SALs. HAED Boo by Spangler and the new SAL on the HAED board and I chose QS Literate Dragon by Spangler. I also am doing the SAL for Country Cottages Santa Village. They will go into my rotation for the new year. I also still plan on finishing as many of my WIP/UFOs as I can.

Have a Merry Christmas!

November TUSAL & IHSW

I missed the TUSAL by a couple of days but here is my ort container. The only thing I have been stitching on is HAED QS Fragile Heart.

This weekend is IHSW so I will be stitching as much as possible and hoping to finish HAED QS Fragile Heart by Thanksgiving.

This is how far I am right now.

Thanks for looking and the comments. Sorry I have not had the time to look at anyones blogs. Work hours have been crazy and when I get home, eat dinner and do some laundry all that I want to do is stitch.

Sept. IHSW & TUSAL

This weekend was the IHSW and I stitched on S is For Stitcher . This is out of the June 2008 Cross Country Stitching magazine. I ran out of the yellow that you see under the letters E & R. So I went to Michaels after work. They were out of this color. So DH said he will go to a local craft store and see if they have it.

Yesterday was also TUSAL and the threads in the orts glass are from HAED Aurora's Garden and S is For Stitcher.

This is busy season at work and we have picked up a lot since last season. Very tired when I get home so you may not see me leaving comments on your blogs and you may not seeing me post much on my blog. I am ok, just may not be on as much.

IHSW and catching up

First off this weekend is IHSW and I plan to do a lot. It has been a crazy 2 weeks at work and I need to veg all weekend. Supposed to be cool this weekend, can you say Autumn? My favorite time of year.

I know that I haven't been on here lately. So let's back up and see... oh yeah I finished page 2 of Aurora's Garden
Next rotation I will finish her.

Sept. 2 DH and I went to the NY State Festival of Balloons in Dansville, NY. They also had a car show that day. I love the muscle cars and will show you a couple pics and since you know what hot air balloons look like then I will post pics of the unique ones.

I have also been stash shopping. I know, I said no more charts til I finish everything that I have started. But who can resist HAEDs and trying to support them this week.
So the past few weeks I have ordered 3-4 pieces of Picture This Plus fabric for some charts in the JCS Halloween issue. Then I ordered a years subscription to Stoney Creek Magazine. I received the JCS Christmas Ornament issue. So for HAED I have ordered and received Boo from Randall Spangler during the Labor Day sale. I am starting that January 1 with a few other stitchers. Then yesterday for HAED appreciation week I ordered:
Minis:
Felicity
Hannah Lynn

QS:
Rosita
Sea Star

Faces of HAED:
Faces Rae
Faces of Faery 135
Faces of Faery 88

I pulled out S is For Stitcher from a Cross Country stitching magazine. I started it a few years ago and will post a pic on Sunday night.

My manager was out on Medical leave from Sept 4 - Sept. 12. She came back yesterday. We were very busy while she was gone and when she is gone then I am in charge. So more hours and very tired when I got home. Busy season has hit us hard and way more work than 3 people can handle. But my paycheck is nice :-)

Have a great IHSW!!

TUSAL and IHSW

The other day was TUSAL and I didn't get to post til tonight. So the threads in my glass are from:
Marty Bell's Rocky Mountain Christmas, HAED Faces of Faery 66, and HAED Aurora's Garden.

Also this weekend was IHSW and I stitched on HAED Aurora's Garden.

Friday - I got up and got all ready for work. I stepped down into my family room and stepped right on top of the dog's rubber fire hydrant and twisted my ankle so bad. I ended up staying home from work, I couldn't walk very well so kept my foot elevated and iced every once in a while. DH kept yelling at the dog about his stupid toys. The dog is totally mine so he came over and was licking my face with his sad eyes. Ended up propped up on the couch stitching all day an catching up on TV shows that I had DVRd.

Saturday - we went to the Erie County Fair, outside of Buffalo. The boys went with us and Dylan brought Allie and Justin brought his best friend. I ended up being able to walk all day. Saw a wolf show, they are so gorgeous , and monkeys. Gt home and rested my ankle. Didn't really swell up.

Today- Kept an eye on my ankle today. Is a little sensitive but I can walk on it. Watched all the rest of the DVrd shows and just have movies left. Stitched and washed laundry all day. Watched tonight's episode of True Blood. Next Sunday is the season finale.

Have a great night!

July IHSW

Yes, it was a weekend of stitching for the IHSW. I stitched on Rocky Mountain Christmas. I do have the top half done and this weekend I put in about 700 stitches. I am not showing the whole thing til I get a whole page done. This is the section I worked on.
I started this January 2001 as a SAL and my goal is to finish this by Thanksgiving.

I read a little bit today of The Divide by Nicholas Evans.

I also watched 3 episodes of Live with Kelly and 3 episodes of General Hospital. Then I watched Pixars Cars 2 and tonight's episode of True Blood, which was really gory tonight.

It was another warm and humid day today. The a/c was on for most of the day and will have it on while sleeping.

Thanks for visiting and all the comments. I appreciate them.

IHSW & TUSAL

This weekend was the IHSW weekend. I stitched on HAED SK Sunny.
I also stitched on Mirabilia Halloween Fairy

Today was TUSAL and here is this month's ort container. All the threads in this are from the Halloween Fairy and Sunny.
Yesterday and today were very hot and humid. We even had an air quality alert today.

Lots of beads have been coming in the mail, from ebay. I am hoping to make more jewelry next weekend. I would have made some this weekend but I wanted to do the IHSW instead. Nothing else going on in my part of the world.

IHSW - March

I am sorry I am late posting this. I have been sick all week but now feeling better.
Saturday I stitched on HAED SK Sunny

Then Sunday I pulled out LK Halloween Rules. This is getting close to being finished.
I finished Howl at the Moon and stitched the border for the last chart. Then onto the bottom border.

This week I finished reading Blind Side by Catherine Coulter and I think this one was my favorite one, of the FBI series, so far.

IHSW progress

I didn't stitch as much as I would have liked. Seems I was really tired this weekend and was asleep on the couch by 9pm both Friday and Saturday. That isn't like me at all. I usually go to bed around 11.
Anyways I did stitch a little bit on HAED SK Sunny. This is on 25 ct evenweave 1x1.
Then today I pulled out LK Halloween Rules. I am pretty sure this will be finished in March. I finished Greet a Ghost, stitched some more of the border and then started Howl At the Moon. So I have this pattern and then 1 more before doing the bottom border. I am so close.

So that is how my IHSW went. How was yours?

Sunday IHSW & LK Halloween Rules

I am all caught up on reading blogs and forums. Washed 3 loads of laundry and FINALLY finished organizing my specialty threads. I was almost done many months ago but decided today that it had to be DONE!

Then I sat down and stitched on LK Halloween Rules. I am only showing a portion of it because my batteries died in my camera. So I scanned this and it all doesn't fit on my scanner.
The frog visited me today though. I wa stitching the mummy and I was off so had to redo him. Then I stitched some more of the black border and then the border of Sit For A Spell. Stitched the cat also. This is so much fun to stitch up. I will pull it out again next Sunday.

I watched:
2 episodes Live With Kelly
1 episode of General Hospital
1 episode of The Secret Circle
tonight's episode of Once Upon A Time
tonight's episode of Desperate Housewives

I also finished the audiobook The Maze by Catherine Coulter. This is the 2nd book of her FBI series.

Justin and I were watching Tv when the new McDonalds commercial came on about something being the McMuffin. So Justin says "You are the McMuffin of Moms" LOL. Too funny.

Well night all. IHSW is done for this month and I accomplished a lot. I am going to go read before bed. The book is Even Cat Sitters Get the Blues by Blaize Clement.

Thank you for all of the comments, you are all the best.

Saturday IHSW & The Pledge

Yesterday started a morning of beading. My sister and mom came over and my sister wanted to learn how to make a bracelet. Her beads were gorgeous. Black and silver. Something you would pay $30 for and she made for $8. I repaired a bracelet that I had. No making anything for me lol. Mom just came to visit and watch :-)

We had to laugh at my dog. His name is Dreyx and he is 10 years old. Rottie/Sheppard mix. Well my dad says we have been lucky rescuing dogs. He just rescued a 4 year old female Shibu Inu (sp). I adopted Dreyx when he was 1 1/2. Anyways we were sitting at the table beading and brought up what my dad has said and he calls my dog a real gentleman. My sister laughed and said Dreyx is not a gentleman. Well he whipped his head around and glared at my sister and stuck his nose up in the air and then got closer to my mom for her sympathy LOL. We laughed and he glared at her for the rest of the day lol. My sister calls him a boob dog since that is what he likes about women LOL.

They left around 3 and then I got ready to go to Scott's parents house. I cooked sausages, mashed potatoes and corn. I took a pack out of meat out of their freezer and brought it home. I can have it thawed out next Saturday for them and buy some for us as well.

So since it is still IHSW I stitched some more on SamSarah Designs The 1892 Pledge.
I am loving this piece and will  bring it back out in a week. Sundays are Halloween stitching and the week of the 25th I always stitch something Christmas.

I watched a really good movie on Lifetime. Drew Peterson - Untouchable. Awesome performance by Rob Lowe. I didn't recognize him. He costarred for 2 days, with Live With Kelly and still is as hot as he was in the 80's. Doesn't look like he aged at all.

Thanks for all the comments and I do reply to those I can. You are all the best!

A Pledge & IHSW

This is the IHSW= International Hermit Stitching Weekend , and what a perfect weekend for that with the cold temps and snow.
My cowoker and I ordered lunch for our manager as her birthday was last week. We had pizza from Dominos which was very good. Scott picked me up from work. He had to go to Home Depot and then across the street is Michaels, where I had to go. So I bought a crimper tool. Then we went to Applebees.

I stitched on SamSarah Designs The 1892 Pledge. I also listened to some more of The Maze by Catherine Coulter. Then I watched Grimm.

My sister is supposed to come over tomorrow and possibly a friend for a day of jewelry making. Depends on the weather.

Well I am going to go and play some sims2 before I go to bed.

Thank you for all of the comments that I have been getting, I appreciate all of you.
