Filthy Rich Fae by Geneva Lee

Cate works in a hospital and her brother is brought in with a gunshot would, Now she is going to go after the man who put it there. When she meets him she gives him her soul if he leaves her brother alone. Only to find out he is Fae and there is a whole underworld of them. He is also very powerful and rich.
She went to him on her own and I did not feel sorry for her when it got to be to much for her. But he does treat her well to a certain point and the things that go on n the Fae world stays there. I liked most of the characters and the book was fast paced. I can't wait to read the next book.

Cowboy for Hire by Victoria  James

Sarah Turner has led a sheltered life since her brother's death when they were kids. Her parent's took her out of school and homeschooled her. She didn't have any friends and lived on her family ranch. Now as an adult and after her parents' deaths she now has to figure out how to keep the ranch going. So she needs to hire a manager. She posts it online but the paper says she wants to hire a cowboy for herself lol. For years she has also had her families cook/housekeeper take care of her.
Cade Walker shows up for the position on Ranch Manager as he is looking for a new job. He comes from a dysfunctional family and never talks about them. He has been taking care of himself since he was a teenager.
Both Sarah and Cade need each other to find what they are looking for
Getting to know Cade's "family", which are all of his friends and how they pulled Sarah into their group made me smile. She had no idea how to be around others but 2 women pull them right in.

Pirate's Pleasure by Lisa Kessler

I loved this book. It takes you to the character's of Captain Hook's men and it is many year's later. They have drunk from the Holy Grail and can not die. John Smythe own his own business and has a woman named Harmony working for him. His crew is asked to steal Pandora's box for the government and that is where Harmony comes into play. Harmony is also a thief and works for the underground world called Digi Robbins. She steals relics to sell and then gives the money to people who have no insurance and need life saving medical treatments. Once John finds out who she really is he is also losing his heart to her. He can't decide if he should keep his heart safe like he always has or give it to Harmony.
I loved hearing the names of the pirates. Plus the agents involved and how one has also drunk from the Holy Grail and trying to save a family member who he has watched from afar.
This is the 3rd book of the series and I would love to read the other 2 books.

A Wicked Reputation by Liana LeFey

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lady Diana's reputation is tarnished when her fiance ran away with her best friend and got married. He told everyone that Diana had gotten pregnant by some other man. Since this is set in the 1800s then having sex outside of marriage is a sin and no man will want to marry a woman who is soiled. She was living with her uncle and aunt at the time. Her uncle threw her out of the house and would not believe her. Left with little choice, she agrees to pretend to be a courtesan to protect her benefactor's secret.
Lucas meets Diana and wants her. He will do whatever it takes to have her. But what he finds out even surprises him.
I loved the friendship between Diana, Harrow and Rene and Harrow's wife.
I still found it a little hard with everyone that is hired help that some things weren't leaked about all their friendships. I did not realize this was book 3 of a series and do not think I missed anything by not reading the other 2 books.

Macy knows she shouldn't have her doubts. But she also knows that when you have everything, you have everything to lose.

My Thoughts:


Seth and Macy haven't been married long. He is a tattoo artist and used to be in a band. I know Macy is into rodeos but I am not sure what her full time job is. They are madly in love with each other and they want to start a family. Seth gets a phone call to do 1 gig with his old band. Macy is not so sure about it because of what happened the last time, which you will find out when you read this. After discussing their future and how he wants to really do this gig one last time then they decide to do it. Even though there are only 89 pages you still get to know the characters. I enjoyed how they feed off each other when something is wrong and their little bit of roll playing made me laugh.
