Busy and was sick

I hadn't been on much last week as I was sick. Friday, after work, DH and I went to PA to give money to Dylan. His car needed work on it. On the way there we had no problems. We left Saturday afternoon, to come home and about 30 minutes to an hour we were watching another driver in the passing lane kept putting her brakes on. College age girl. Then she almost side swiped us. Well we were watching her and didn't notice the exit we were supposed to take lol. So we came across a sign that said last exit for Pennsylvania. Ok I don't remember that sign and no way are we near NY. We still have 3 hours to go. Next thing we notice the south bound traffic has a toll booth. I looked at DH and said we have never paid a toll going to Dylan's. Next sign says Welcome to New Jersey! We laughed so hard. It only took us 20 minutes out of our way so we were doing ok time wise. Got turned around and back to where we needed to be. We were home by 8:30pm. So I pulled out HAED QS Fragile Heart and stitched for an hour or 2. I won't be pulling this back out til June.

Yesterday I cleaned the house and did laundry. Went grocery shopping and then played Sims3 for awhile. Pulled out It's Halloween for a couple of hours and watched Season Finale of Desperate Housewives.

Thanks for reading and the comments,
Shelleen

  2. Your QS is looking good Shelleen. I like Fragile Heart, and I've seen several people working on it. Your Halloween one looks good too. I found your blog through the HAED blog you belong to and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Julie, from Cincinnati, OH where I live with my lil cat, Yes Dear. I'm a big fan of HAED, and have two full sized ones on the go, though neither of them is my current focus piece.

  5. Once my Mom ended up in Indiana -- She was driving from where she worked to where I worked, which was only about 2 miles apart, lol. My Dad and now-Ex had to go get her!

    Your stitching looks great.

  6. Lovely stitching.
On the driving part...these days I'm going nowhere without a navigator. I'm perfectly able to get lost on my way to the kitchen so to speak.
