Back from vacation

I had a great time in Canada and have lots to tell you so I will take a few days to share. Tonight I will show you all my stitching I did.
Finished a Crazy January Challenge - JCS Halloween 2010 - By the Full Moon- Ink Circles

Then I pulled out HAED Rapunzel and stitched a few hundred stitches.

Then Sunday I pulled out LK Halloween Rules

I left my house on the 20th and it took me 5 1/2 hours to get to Gail's house. She lives in Metcalf, Ontario, Canada.  I drove by myself and didn't run into any problems.
Was glad to see Gail. Walked in to see her dog and cat. I won over the cat real quick ha ha. His name is Jake and he is a gorgeous cat

This is Gail and her dog Hanna
She is a sweet dog.
We went out for dinner at a local diner. Then went back to her house and I went online, and played Sims 3.

Sunday we went out for brunch at a racetrack/casino. It was really good. We went back to her house and I went through her mags and leaflets. I have a lot more than she does but she has a nice collection. It was a relaxing day.

Monday we went for breakfast at the Ikea store. We don't have one by me so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to shop at one. Yes, I did spend some money but not a lot. I bought 2 throw pillows for my couch, a really pretty lamp, some bag clamps, and a salad spinner.
Then I went through some more of her mags. Fell in love with the mags called Cross Stitch Card Shop and we did end up finding one in the book store so I now own one.

I will continue more of my vacation tomorrow. We went to Ottawa and I saw the Parliament Building and we went on a river cruise. So I will post more pics. I took a ton of pics the whole week.

Night all,
Shelleen
