Feeling less than festive, Dallas tries to put aside her distaste for the victim and solve the mystery of his death. There are just a few investigating days left before Christmas, and as New Year’s 2061 approaches, this homicide cop is resolved to stop a cold-blooded killer.

Trey is a personal trainer and in perfect shape but winds up dead with a kitchen knife in his chest. With so many women in his life that he had hurt and screwed over makes this difficult for Eve Dallas to find out who did it.
It is also Christmas time with Eve doing her Christmas shopping, which she hates to do. Plus Roarke's Holiday bash in their house with all their friends had her having to be home for that day to help with the caterer's florists and whatever else needs to be done.
I don't think I will ever get bored of this series.
