progress and vacation pics

I have been stitching and enjoying the time off from yahoo groups and reading blogs.
Last week I stitched on Joan Elliot's Christmas Angel. From and old The Cross Stitcher magazine.
Today I stitched on more of LK Halloween Rules
Now onto some more of my vacation.
That Tuesday we took a cruise on the river and we also visited the Parliament building. We didn't get to close as a politician had died , so people were there for a memorial.

This is the Chateau Laurier Hotel

This is the Parliament building.

The Eternal Flame at the Parliament Building.

Parliament Building's Library.

Rideau Canal Locks at the Ottawa River.

While on the boat cruise we could see The Museum of Civilazation. I loved the building. I want to see this museum the next time I go.

Museum of Art. Which I also want to visit next time.

Well that is it for today. Blogger doesn't want to add more pics. It is taking to long. Thanks for looking and for the comments that you all have been leaving. I really appreciate it.

  7. Shelleen, I adore Christmas Angel and LK Halloween Rules. I wish I had time to do the Rules but too many irons in the fire now.

I loved looking at your vacation pix. At first I thought I was looking at pix from England, as I think Canada definitely has that British feel to it. Like the Parliament building - defifinitely British-like. Great post, Shelleen!
