A feel-good romcom with tender moments and small town vibes
by the author of Whatever Happened to Everything.
When Carly is unceremoniously fired from her film production job in NYC, she decides to visit the Vermont farm she inherited from her grandmother three years ago. Quickly realizing she has to sell the rundown place, Carly needs the help of Granny's farmhand Boone, who happens to be a long-ago summer fling.
A picnic at the swimming hole, a romantic street dance at the Apple Blossom Festival...and a baby raccoon who needs rescuing.
This ex-boyfriend she's always wondered about now surprises Carly at every turn. As they face impossible odds and big-time real estate developers, Carly and Boone hatch a plan to rent out the farm to a famous film director — the same one who fired Carly.
A SWEET AND FUNNY SECOND CHANCE LOVE STORY.
