My surgery went as planned and no complications. The hospital stay was fine and they have a great staff of nurses and techs. loved them all. They also were quiet at night so I could sleep. My surgery was on Thursday morning and I was released at noon on Saturday. While there I finished an exchange on friday night and I stitched a little bit on the Quilt Sampler on Saturday. One of my nurses loves to cross stitch and she fell in love with the quilt sampler. She also told of a craft store in the city that sells used charts and DMC is .10 a skein.
Sunday, between naps I stitched some more on Halloween Fairy by Nora Corbet. I really enjoy stitching on her.
Then Monday & Tuesday I stitched on the Quilt sampler and now I only have 2 more blocks and some of the border left.
Wednesday was HAED day for me and this is freebie Aurora's Garden. I have 1 column done on page 1. I love the colors.
Today I stitched another page of Twas The Night Before Christmas by Little Old Me Designs. This stitches up quick.
Yes, I am getting a lot of rest. Sleeping when I need it as well.
I also finished listening to My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult and gave it a 5/5 rating. I just loved this book. I am now listening to The 5th Horseman by James Patterson.
In the evenings I watch a movie as well.
This week I have watched:
Gran Torino - it was ok- very slow
Baby on Board- good
Spring Breakdown - good
Georgia Rule - good
True Blood also started its second season on Sunday and I ended up watching it on Monday since I couldn't stay awake.
Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment.
Now I plan on picking up Christmas Ornament stitching since it has been neglected all year. Now I remember why I loved being a SAHM for 19 years lol. I sure do miss it. But I also like my job and having stash money.
Glad you are doing so well! You certainly have gotten a lot of stitching done too. I love the Halloween Fairy...love the browns.
