I had Justin draw a number to see what UFO I would be stitching on til done. He chose #11. It is a The Cross Stitcher Joan Elliott Spring Angel. I started it last Spring and haven't touched it again. I also will be working on another UFO which is #1 - Marty Bell Rocky Mountain Christmas, as it was started January 2001 and I want it finished, so doing this as a SAL with my Stitching Sisters Yahoo group.
Yes, that is right. I started and finished project #1 in the Crazy January Challenge. I picked an ornament and it stitched up quick.

Let's see what I accomplish on January 2 :-)
Congrats on your first finish of the year!
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to look to see if my cable company is carrying the OWN network. I'd like to see what it's all about.
We took our tree down a couple of days ago. I know it's tradition for most people to leave it up until the new year but it our house, it's typical down by then. I think today is going to be a pj day for me!
Very cute Shelleen!
ReplyDeleteMy tree is still up and probably will remain up until possibly the 3rd weekend in Jan. I want to sort through all my stuff and get rid of some and I will need a couple days to do that. Won't have a full weekend again till the 3rd weekend so that is when it will happen. Maybe...
I had a PJ day, too, yesterday. However, my decorations will stay up until next weekend. I enjoy being surrounded by my Nutcrackers and having the tree lights on at night.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the LK finish. I love LKs Christmas designs. They are all so adorable.
Lol I finished my first stitch for the crazy 15 too. Good luck on all your WIPs.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your first finish of the year, and the challenge!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you didn't accomplish anything yesterday. I will never know how you do it all!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your starts and finishes. You gave me an idea while reading your post. I always see cute designs I want to stitch, but then I forget where I saw them and the exact name etc of the piece. And I was going to do that again with your L*K ornament when I got a notepad out and wrote the specifics down. Now, if I see something, I won't lose track of it. Thanks!!
Wow - you're off to a GREAT start!!! Can't wait to see your stitching progress through the coming year! :)
ReplyDelete(PS - Don't you just love those jammies/no make-up days) :)
I love the started and finished ornament! It's so pretty on the navy fabric. When you stitch, you STITCH!!! You had a big day of it. Thanks for sharing your day yesterday. You really got a lot accomplished.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the finish!
ReplyDeleteI am also doing the SAL Rocky Mountain Christmas. I started mine in 2000 and would love to get it finished.
Happy stitching!
The LK piece is adorable. Congrats on your finish.
ReplyDeleteI ended up staying up til midnight on New Year's Eve so I was really tired on NY Day. I didn't do my hair or makeup either! I did stitch quite a bit though... and took a 2 hour nap.
