Snowy and Blustery day!!

This is what it looks like out now and it is still coming down and supposed to get worse this afternoon. Across the road is a huge field and then woods. Can't even see it because of white out conditions and so dark and it is 11:30 am. There isn't any school for my kids and DS#1 is very mad as his Class Ring was coming in today. DS#2 went to his girlfriends house for the day. So DH took me to Curves this morning and then right back home. I will sit and stitch and stay warm, it is 22F out but very windy so I am sure that the wind chill is in the single digits.

This is Bent Creek February Snapper. This is all I got done on it, over the weekend. I need the rest of the floss to finish it. So then I moved onto....
LK Thanksgiving Flip It and only got this much done on it. I also have to wait for the rest of the colors to come in before I finish it.

Watched the Super Bowl and rooted for the Seahawks. I don't know who the officials were but they stunk. I have talked to so many steeler fans today and they also agreed that the officials were out after the Seahawks. Also the one touch down by the Steelers was not a touchdown. I don't even believe that John Madden could believe the call. His comments about it was also surprise. Oh well, at least it wasn't a blow out game and loved the commercials in the 1st half but after that they stunk. Mick Jagger looked great for his age but I am not to sure if it was their music or the Dome that made them sound horrible. But then Aretha sounded horrible as well so it makes you wonder if it was the sound system.

  1. Oh my gosh! I had exactly the same opinion as you about the Super Bowl - and that bogus touchdown! Every angle showed that the football did not cross the line until Rothlesberger slid it over the line - after he was already down on the ground!!!!! I feel badly for the Seahawks and their fans :-(

  4. Wow! Pretty snow! Your projects look great. And I agree about the Superbowl! The only commercials that I like are the Budweiser Clydesdales. The 2 they showed this year were cute!

  5. Hope your threads come in soon I know that can be frustrating not to be able to finish when you are in the mood. The snow looks pretty if you can stay warm inside and stitch. CJ
