Nora Corbett's Halloween Fairy
Cross Stitch & Needleworks mag
32 ct. Tumbleweed , DMC, Kreiniks, and Mill Hill beads
This is what I have done and it was so much fun to stitch up.
Here is a little bit of a close up shot.
I am not sure if there is something else in the catalog that I want to stitch up. If not then the magazine will be up for grabs and maybe I will do it as a give away.
I also started listening to Finger Lickin' Fifteen by Janet Evanovich. I lol a few times. My husband asked what was I listening to and Justin said oh it must be Janet Evanovich because her books make mom lol. I said yes, I am :-) I am almost done listening to it. I am on the last CD so I will finish it tomorrow. Next is Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich.
Tonight I also watched Desperate Housewives and then Durham County.
I didn't post here yesterday as I didn't put in even 1 stitch. Having a family crisis at the moment with a teenage son so if any of you pray please say some for us as we go through a tough time right now. Can't wait til graduation at this point.
The Halloween Fairy is really pretty! I love Janets Evanovich's books as well. Her characters are very funny. I hope the family crisis works out well and quickly...being a parent can be tough especially when your child is a teenage.
ReplyDeleteThe Halloween Fairy is very pretty but pictures don't do it justice. I got to see it stitched up and was amazed at how gorgeous it is in person.
ReplyDeleteStephanie Plum books are one of the very few that make me laugh out loud. And to think that after reading the first one I wasn't going to keep reading them. Silly me!
The halloween fairy is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteShe is oh! so pretty
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Shelleen! Nice job! I just saw your note about the beads and I have some, but not sure how quickly they would get to you. I wouldn't be able to mail them out until tomorrow....if I remember to do it....and it would probably take 3 or 4 days to get to you. So, that would make it by the weekend. Let me know and I'll try to get them mailed to you. Robin from Stitching Sisters.
