Christmas in January

Got ready for work this morning and backed out of my driveway and no brakes. My pedal went to the floor . I then put it into drive and went forwards a few feet and touched the brake and again the same thing. So back into reverse I went so i could pull back into the driveway. I asked Dylan for his keys and drove his car to work. After school Dylan took my car out and everything is fine. Stupid car.

I am all caught up with reading blogs. I left comments on quite a few of them

In honor of Christmas, since it is the 25th, I started a JCS ornament and watched 2 Christmas shows. How The Grinch Stole Christmas and then Shrek The Halls. Justin thought I was losing it. So this is what I started.

JCS 2005 Little House Needleworks
Home For the Holidays
28 ct Tumbleweed, DMC

I also watched House and 24. Both good shows.
So who else did Christmas with me? You all chickened out didn't you? Next month is Christmas music :-)

  4. Be Careful! Don't want them to suddenly go out when you are going down the road. Maybe you should see about getting those breaks checked just to make sure. Sorry, that is my worry wart mind!

    Great new stitchy start!

  7. Sorry to hear about your car. That's scary that the brakes didn't work right. I hope you're going to have it looked at, just to be safe.

Congrats on your new start :)

  9. oh how scary with the car. I had a similar thing happen in Dec. I put on the brake, or so I thought. the pedal wouldn't move. As soon as I got home, I told my husband it HAD to go to the shop. We had the triplets here at the time & there was NO WAY I was putting them in that car!!!!!!
Your stitching looks great! Hey, I have stitched Christmas all month...does that count?!?!?!
